| Phyllostachys aureosulcata - culms Pawtucket, RI This running bamboo area was started in 1994 from a 6" potted specimen. It's approximately 17ft tall now with culms to 3/4" diameter. New shoots emerge from the ground during the first and second weeks of May here in Pawtucket, RI. Some years leaf burn does occur, typically when temperatures drop below 0F with high winds. |
